Migrating Exchange 2007 PFs to Exchange 2013

I am  in the process of migration from Exchange 2007->2013 and just completed the mailbox moves. I'm moving on to the PF migration part. The existing Exch2007 PFs are very small, a couple of contact lists and a shared company calendar. All of the procedures I've found for the PF migration seem very involved. My initial thoughts were to just export each PF to pst, delete the PFs, then create new PFs with the same names on Exch2013 and import the pst's. A simple task, too simple to get away with?

I'm concerned that users may get pop up errors when the Exch2007 PFs are taken offline. I need to accomplish this and make it seemless to Outlook users.

Any thoughts and/or comments are appreciated.
