Migrating from exchange 2000 to exchange 2007
Hello, we are attempting to migrate from Exchange 2000 to Exchange 2007. Yesterday we went through the whole process of prepping schema, Legacy Exchange Permissions, AD, Domain etc. We then installed Exchange 2007 on our new server. The install went find and mailflow seems fine for the mailboxes that we have moved to it. However, we are now attempting to install Exchange SP2 on the new server and it is telling us that "The AD Schema is not up to date and LDIFDE.exe is not installed on this computer." We did prep schema so I am not sure what this errror is all about. We also had no problem installing 2007 so I can't imagine the install would have succeeded if we didn't prep everything beforehand. Any help would be greatly appreciated. This is a Windows Server 2008 Standard Server running Exchange 2007. Please note, our exchange 2000 server is still online. We are in the process of migrating the mailboxes from the 2000 server to the 2007 server.
