Migrating from exchange 2010 to Exchange 2007
Hi All.
I have one organisation with 200 users. Domain name is company.com.
Last year it migrated from Exchange 2003 to 2010. Now we have only Exchange 2010 servers.
Today this organisation should combine with another organisations. It uses Exchange 2007 with thousands users. Common domain will be company.com.
And we must use Exchange 2007 in the new common organisation.
I know how I can migrate another domains to us.
But I can't install exchange 2007 servers in my domain. Only 2010 servers are exist now.
What can I do?

Hi
There is no option now I think. :(
Reason is, if you are migrating to exchange server 2003 to Exchange server 2010, and in feature, if you are going to introduce Exchange server 2007.
Before upgrading, you have to update your Active Directory Schema and prepare your domain with Exchange Server 2007 installation Media, if you missed this option and moved directly to Exchange 2010. Then you are lost.
You cannot Exchange 2007 in the middle.

Rajkumar is completely right. Now to ? -- What is to be done?
(1) Tell your new common organization that it is not feasible to downgrade to Exchange 2007 and keep your Exchange 2010 servers.
(2) Move all your users to linked mailboxes on the Exchange 2007 servers of the other organization and access them remotely.MCTS: Messaging | MCSE: S+M

Jon-Alfred, I can't go by your way. I must use my domain for common organisation.
So I know 2 way: by 2010 CALs or use another domain.
