Why the move to the new domain? It may be easier to upgrade the existing domain.If this is not an option then you will need to use ExMerge to move to a new Exchange 2003 server in the new Domain.This is because the schema and domain for the new domain will need to be prepped and Exchange objects and servers will need to be created. Unfortunetly I am not aware of a way of just migrating an Exchange server to a new domain like you would a file server.BP - MCITP:EMA, MCTS

Today I have consolidate 4 domain in only a domain.My idea only migrate object server to new domain with ADMT, but I think to be a problem to Exchange.Do you understand?Any idea?

Yes, that is correct, Exchange will be a probje.Do the other four domains have Exchange Servers as well?The best course of action will be to deploy a new Exchange server in the new domain. Create the mailboxes on the new Exchange server in the new domain. use Exmerge to export the mailboxes of the users in the old domain, use exmerge to import the mailboxes into the new domain. I can't think of a better approach.BP - MCITP:EMA, MCTS

Do you mean that you are going to install Exchange 2003 on Windows 2008 server? If so, it is NOT supported to install on Windows 2008 but you can install on Windows 2003 member server which can use Windows 2008 Domain Controller but it shouldn't be RODC.

Ah, good point Amit. I was thinking he was going into a Windows 2008 domain....Like Amit said, you can not deploy Exchange 2003 on a Windows 2008 Server. if you need to use Windows 2008Server you will need to deploy Exchange 2007. This would then change your migration procedure.BP - MCITP:EMA, MCTS

Now, I`m undestand...
I have in each domain a Exchange Server dedicated to the domain.. example;
Users Domain A with Exchange A
Users Domain B with Exchange B...
I need migrate all users (four domains) to new domain with only a Exchange. I will be deploy exchange 2003 on W2k3, only DC are w2k8.
So, I need deploy new exchange to new domain and migrate with Exmerge import/export mailbox.
I can't migrate only object server to new domain? with ADMT?
Tks

with ADMT you can migrate the user accounts, file servers, etc. You need an entirly new Exchange Server in the new Domain to support email and use ExMerge to migrate the mailbox data from the old domain into the new domain. BP - MCITP:EMA, MCTS

If you are in position to pay extra bucks then third party tools like Quest Exchange Migration Managercan handle cross forest migration and consolidation easily and smoothly without export/import mailbox and PFs are also supported.
Otherwise you can use BP's method for manual migration...Amit Tank | MVP - Exchange | MCITP:EMA MCSA:M | http://ExchangeShare.WordPress.com

Yes Agree with Bardapony and Amit, x86 Exchange 2003 Server applicationcan't be installed on Windows 2008 x64 bit.You can bring new Windows 2008 Domain, install Exchange 2007 and using exchange 2003 migration wizard you can move mailboxes from exchange 2003 to exchange 2007.Exchange 2007 migration overview http://msexchangeteam.com/archive/2006/10/27/429522.aspxExchange 2007 Cross Org Mailbox Migrationhttp://msexchangeteam.com/archive/2006/11/02/430289.aspxUpgrading to Exchange 2007http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb124008.aspxMigrate from Exchange 5.5 to Exchange 2003 or Exchange 2007Exchange Migration Wizardhttp://www.quest.com/exchange-migration-wizard/Best Practices for Transitioning an Exchange Organizationhttp://technet.microsoft.com/hi-in/library/bb124920(en-us).aspxArun Kumar | MCSE - 2K3 + Messaging | ITIL-F V3
