We are a very small shop meaning less that 20 users.  The orginal purchase was Exchange 2007 Enterprise.  We want to upgrade to Exchange 2013 Standard.  All roles are contained on one server.  There are many resources on here and quite frankly I am a little intimated by as many as there are.  I was curious if anyone could point me to the best one considering what I am doing above.

I have experience in 2007 to 2013 migration for small shops.  TechNet is a very good place to start for migration information.  If you have any specific questions regarding the implementation please post those further as your question is broad.

I am looking for the best "how to guide."  If you could post a link I would greatly apprecaite it.  I am not very good on this so I need it simplified as much as possible.  Additionally we do not have any money for a support all to MS so I need all of the help I can get from start to finish.

Do you have public folders?  If so, that can be a beast to migrate:

Yes.  I have a public folders and a public calendar that we use for scheduling.  Thank you for the links.  I will look through them to see what I need to do.

Public folders can be a beast to migrate, but if you follow both links and take information from each, you can do it.  I just did a single PF myself and it took me about 1/2 day.  Of course this was my first time.

NO, There is no in place upgrade available in any version of exchange server.
