Migration of Exchange 2007 PFs to Exchange 2013

Does migrating Exchange 2007 PFs to Exchange 2013 cause any errors or warnings to the Outlook clients?

Is it possible to migrate just by exporting PFs from 2007 and importing them into new 2013 PFs? I can't find anything using this procedure so assume its not a good way to go about it. The PFs I'm migrating are only a few and don't have much data in them.

Public folder migration is not an easy task when it comes to manually which contains lots of complexity. For import/export the best way is use outlook. You can export your contacts/PFs to a .PST files and then Import the .PST file to the new server for detailed check out these articles.

The PFs I'm migrating are only a few and don't have much data in them.

As you have already mentioned that you have very less amount of PF data. So, here are steps for you.

If you have

1. Live Environment

Then export your PFs to PST file and import them easily into Exchange Server.

2. Offline Environment

Then, you need to have a Offline EDB to PST Converter to convert your PFs to PST files. And after conversion you can easily import converted PST files to Exchange Server.

Alternatively, for importing or exporting PST files into Exchange Server, you can take the help of this tool http://www.systoolsgroup.com/exchange-export-import-wizard.html
