There does not appear to be a calendar search option in on premise Exchange 2013 OWA.  This option DOES exist in Office 365 OWA, however.  Can anyone confirm that this feature is missing by design in Exchange 2013 and not some sort of misconfiguration?

This exact same issue has been brought to my attention in the last couple of hours. I have not been able to find a thing on how to get it resolved.

Hopefully someone can chime in and help figure this mystery out.

I finally got an official answer from Microsoft.  The Calendar Search feature in OWA is only available in Exchange Online:

According to my knowledge and confirmation with product team, the feature is only available in Exchange Online. Currently, we havent receive any announcement about when this feature will be available in Exchange 2013. 

I will send feedback to our product team about your need with this feature. And I will keep you updated when this feature is available in Exchange 2013.

I finally got an official answer from Microsoft.  The Calendar Search feature in OWA is only available in Exchange Online:
