I am using Microsoft Office Outlook 2010. When I was using Windows 8.1, I had all of the IMAP folders from my mail server. When I switched to Windows 10 a lot of these folders are missing. They are on the server, my Iphone and Ipad. When I right click and go to IMAP folders, Query the list, some folders show up but not all of them. I highlite the ones I want to subscribe to, appy this subscribtion and click OK. None of these folders will subscribe. I have not changed any settings, added any new software. All of these steps worked in Windows 8 and 8.1, but Not in Windows 10. I have deleted the PST and account, reset PST and none of this works, how do I get all of my folders back? I have updated the folder list and this has done nothing. I have done a program repair in the programs on the control panel.

Any ideas?

Since the upgrade to Windows 10, have you created a new Outlook profile? If not, please create a new one to setup the account, check the result.

You can also try the following steps below:

• Right click on the Start button of Windows and choose: Command Prompt (Admin).
  • If you dont see this, instead choose: Windows PowerShell (Admin)
• Behind the prompt type: sfc /scannow
  (note the space in the command)
• Wait until the process completes.
• Restart your computer.

If the problem persists, please test if this could be a workaround:

Go to File -> Account Settings -> Account Settings -> Double click on the IMAP account name -> More Settings -> Advanced tab -> Under Folder : Root Folder Path : Type the words "Inbox" -> OK.

Thanks for the information but none of this has work. I deleted the IMAP account today and then set it up again, now I have different folder that are subscrided. It will not apply any new folder subscriptions and the folder update does nothing. The root folder path made it worse, so I went back to the blank root path.

So basically it is still doing the same thing as first stated.
