Missing Mail and internal relay
Hello, We are in the final phase of our migration to 2007 from 2003. I have two issues at present that have me a bit confused. First, a fewusers had sent me emails from accounts on the 2007 server that I never received in my mailbox on the same 2007 server. I questioned them about these missing emails and they retrieved copies from their sent items folder and printed them out for me. Oddly, the other receipients in the emails got their copy however if I search the exchange logs or use message tracking, the system does not report a message being sent to me. I did receive messages from these users before and after. Not sure where to even start with this one. Secondly, we use a mass mailer app to send out our opt in bulk emails. In the past we'd just point this app to our 2003 servers IP address and hit send with no issues. Today we tried to send via our new 2007 box and it rejected every single message. Changing the out going servers IP address back to the 2003 exchange box allowed us to get the messages out but I am unsure why we cannot send via the new 2007 server. All other outgoing mail and incoming seems to be functioning, does anyone have any ideas here? Thanks, Julian I. Spring
