Missing contacts in Business Contact Manager (Outlook 2010)

This issue is driving me crazy!

Probably I'm not using BCM correctly and I'm missing some "base" concept to use it correctly but I try to explain better what happen so probably somebody can tell me what I'm doing wrong.

We have Outlook 2010 and BCM correctly installed and (as far as I know) perfectly working on 4 PCs (the DB of BCM is installed on Windows Server + SQL Server).

1) I'm looking for a contact, so I follow this guide : Search your records in BCM ... I open"Business Contact Manager" > "Contact management" > and I write the name in "the search in" box just behind the tab of the contact type I'm looking for. What happens is that some contacts that contain the name I'm writing, that are perfectly visible in the list just before I start to write, are not listed. For instance: I'm looking for Mr. Bob, so I type "Bob" and all the contacts named "Bob" appears but ... not all of them. And more: the toolbar "SEARCH" that appear in the top of the window, sometimes doesn't appear. It usually appear automatically when I start to type the name, but not always. I have to close and reopen the Contact management to have the "SEARCH" toolbar back in his places. Well ... from this toolbar if I enable the option "All the Business Contact Manager Elements" then magically the contact I'm looking for appear. But why? It was perfectly visible in the list! Why if I search for it disappears? I'm sure when they installed BCM the 1st time everything was working correctly as expected, but now looks like the search is ... "deteriorating"

If I perform the search using the "Search folders" available in the main outlook navigation pane (and If I create new custom search folder for the Business Contact Manager group) then I can finally have the search for my contact working. There's something I'm doing wrong with the "serch in" box in the Contact Management?

2) I have accidentally changed the "Assigned to" field for a contact and this contact now is vanished. Is no more visible in the list, If I search for it I can't find it, even from the other PCs. Where is it now? How can I have it back or ... how can I have the whole list of the contacts don't care who they belongs to?

Thanks to all in advance.
