Missing msi file

I am trying to update my Microsoft Office 2010 to SP2, so I can get the App to enable me to upgrade my Windows 7 SP1 to Windows 10.

When I try to install the file I get an error message saying I am Singleimageww.msi missing - the office was preinstalled by Dell when I purchased the computer.

I have tried all fixes that I can find on the web and also spoken to Microsoft who cant help me unless I pay $450 for the privilege - I can buy a new software cheaper than that.

Does anyone know of a fix I can do or even send me the file so I can install the update.

Appreciate any help you can offer

Hi,

I have definitely heard your frustration, and we're thinking about ways to make this scenario work better for our customers. As far as I know, SingleImageWW.msi problems can be attributed to corrupt or missing files, invalid registry entries associated with SingleImageWW.msi, or a virus / malware infection.

Since you said, you have tried all fixes that I can find on the web, you'd better tell us which steps/methods you have tried.

In my view, the obvious solution is re-install Office 2010 with a clean installation copy.

Note: Ensure you have the installation disc/media and the product key for Office 2010 before uninstalling it.
