Move Exchange 2010 Linked Mailbox to Exchange 2013

Did not find this specific scenario, but perhaps it's like a 'normal' Exchange 2010 to Exchange 2013 migration.

We have a domain ABC.com with our domain users.
Then we have our resource domain XYZ.com with Exchange 2010 and the linked mailboxes.

Now we want to migrate to Exchange 2013 and install Exchange 2013 in the same domain XYZ.com as Exchange 2010.
Is this like a normal Exchange 2010 to Exchange 2013 migration and move the mailbox to Exchange 2013, or do we need another approach or even prerequirements?

Hope to score some information here.

thanks in advantage!

Hi,

Yes, we can directly move mailboxes from Exchange 2010 to Exchange 2013. If you install Exchange 2013 in the existing Exchange 2010 environment, we can directly create local move requests to do the moving.

Additionally, we can also move the mailbox in EAC (Exchange Admin Center) of Exchange 2013. For more information about this, please refer to:

This seems to be a normal migration procedure that can be accomplished following this informative technet KB : https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dn249849%28v=exchg.150%29.aspx

Moreover, if you wish to achieve this task automatically, you may also consider on this automated solution (http://www.exchangemailboxmigration.com/) that could be a good approach to get this job done in more hassle-free environment.
