Move Exchange 2013 to a new server

I have an Exchange 2013 server on RackSpace which is also a DC. Now, I need to move it from there to a new server. I added new server to domain, installed AD and Exchange there and need to move mailboxes etc to a new server and then remove old exchange server. Have anyone done this before? Is there a step by step guide?

Thanks

The process is pretty much the same as it always has been.

In addition to moving the mailboxes, move the public folders (if any), re-home the offline address book, and move your SMTP connectors.

Hi,

Move Exchange Mailboxes between servers.

Among numerous ways for moving Exchange mailboxes, you can opt for easier & straightforward approach. Directly create PSTs from Exchange 2013 mailboxes and import data from PST files into new server mailboxes (as per the requirement). Here, you need to have live production server environment. But under odd circumstances if you have only "mailboxdatabase.edb" files (offline) then put-into-use any system-attuned utility to move Exchange 2013 mailboxes collectively (without Exchange Server) into individual pst files. Later with the help of "New-MailboxImportRequest" import all data back into live server at any location.
