I'm running a single server E2K7 SP1 setup. I just moved a few mailboxes to a new storage group and DB. The move went fine and the users have access to their mailboxes. However I see that that the mailboxes I moved also appear in the Disconnected Mailbox node in the EMC (but with their storage group and database still pointing to the old location). Is this just because exchange basically makes a copy of a mailbox as it does a move and then deletes that copy? Will these disconnected mailboxes just disappear when the mailbox retention period elapses?Hibs Ya Bass!
