Moving Public Folder ended with (hr=0x80004005, ec=-515) the log missing is tmp.edb
I used "Move database path..." command in the EMC to move a public folder to a new location, it ended with the following error, and want mount: -------------------------------------------------------- Microsoft Exchange Error -------------------------------------------------------- Failed to mount database 'Public Folder Database 0969664653'. My Database was in a clean shutdown state , so I remove all other files (Logs, etc) with just my edb file I mounted success the public folder. I found out that the TMP.EDB only exist is the database is online so this was not the cause of my problem.Antonio Mourao

Hi, -515 means Invalid log sequence, So if we remove all the log files, the database should can be mounted when it is clean shutdown status. Xiu Zhang TechNet Community Support

Hi Xiu Zhang, Yes I understand that now, but why did I have to delete all the log file for it to mount, should not this process be autonomous? It work for other 6 DB?.Antonio Mourao

Hi, You can move these logs to a new location and then try to mount the database, after that you can move these logs back.Xiu Zhang TechNet Community Support
