Moving all Public Folder replicas Issue
Dear Sir,
I am moving PF replica from Exchange 2007 to another Exchange 2007 using this command:
MoveAllReplicas.ps1 -Server Exch01 -NewServer Exch02
This process is not going to the end, once I run:
Get-PublicFolderStatistics - Server Exch01, I get the following result:
(Name: EX: /o=ExORgnization/ou=Exchange Administrative Item Count: G 32
OAB Version3a Item Count: 3
OAB Version4 Item Count: 2)
Once I run: Get-PublicFolderStatistics - Server Exch02, I get the following result:
(Name: EX: /o=ExORgnization/ou=Exchange Administrative Item Count: G 26
OAB Version 2 Item Count: 0
OAB Version 3a Item Count: 2
OAB Version 4 Item Count: 1
So manyother entries)
As a result, the movereplicas is not completed.
As a steps I have done:
Restart the Servers, run the moveallreplica again
I am trying already for 3 days so it is not a matter of time.
I need to decommission Exch01, so:
how can i solve this issue?
Do you think those pended items are normal to be pend? do you think those items cannot be replicated coz its a exchange entry deleted in wrong way?
can I know for what are those pended records?
I would highly appriciate your help
Thanks

You will probably need to wait longer. Public folder replication is very slow. I have seen it take a week or more, then everything happens all at once.
Did you have any other public folders on the server that have already replicated? If you didn't, then it can be a sign of a problem with replication. Have you changed the configuration of the Receive connector on the new server at all?

Hay
Yeah, I have changed the Send and Recieve Connector on Exch02 (it was a step before starting moveallreplica).
Please let me know if there is anyway to see what are the pending items (for example, before there was 3 Mailboxes lost in hardware curruption, so how could i see if those pended items are belong to that one?).
Thanks

What do you mean you have changed the receive connectors? Changed them how? The default configuration is what you need - if you have changed settings then you could stop the replication from taking place, because replication traffic goes over SMTP between
the servers.
Issues with mailboxes have nothing to do with public folders.

Hi Jean,
Any update for your issue?
I would suggest that you could use the PFDAVadmin to check the replicas on the different server publicfolder database.
Then, you could prompt the diagnostic logging to expert, and confirm the replication whether some issue occured?
Some information for you:

Sorry Guys I was late in replay,
The issue is with Active Diretory, there is 2 Domain Controllers, for some unknown reasons one of the those domain controllers hang and stop responding.
I did Decommission this DC and configured the Exchange server o use another DC, then I run the moveallreplicas and it success during 10 minutes.
Thanks for your efforts
