Multimedia audio controller driver issues
Hello,
I recently did a computer cleanup and accidentally erased the multimedia audio controller and now there is no sound coming from my lap top. When I go to the sounds and audio in contol panel everything is greyed out and I can't click on it. I have searched the internet and have discovered I am not the only one out there. I don't know much about computers when it comes to problems. Information that I know about my computer includes:
Dell Latitude x300
Windows XP
As well I do not have a cd disc drive therefore I would not be able to install a program by disc. I would greatly appreciate any help. I am definately feeling technologically frustrated.
THANKS

I'm having this same problem, did you figure it out? I see that Microsoft didn't bother to answer you.

You're certainly asking this question in the wrong forum. However, if
you removed a driver then you should probably be looking a Dell's web
site for the driver that's specific to your PC. Get the support code
off the sticker on the machine and use that to find the information
about your machine.
