Multiple MAPI tree folders were found
Thinks its related to OAB manual download error i'm having - poster here: http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/exchangesvradmin/thread/41361f70-d80b-4864-86a1-d58ee8c0d6dd Dug up a little in ESM, went to Public Folder Managment console, and got error saying: Multiple MAPI tree folders were found Looked up in ADSI EDIT Under Folder Hierarchies and i see only the original MAPI public folder tree (CN=Public Folders). In ESM, In the database properties -> Client Settings , the correct public folder store is selected. how to fix this? thanks

I have a question, did you replicated all the information on the new server? http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd535370(EXCHG.80).aspx Gulab | MCITP: Exchange 2010-2007 | Skype: Gulab.Mallah | Blog: www.ExchangeRanger.Blogspot.com

Hey, i'm working in this org for two weeks now. the exchange server-transfer took place before i got here. according to other employees here they did replicate all the the information to the new exchange server. About the article you gave here - as i mentioned - Looked up in ADSI EDIT Under Folder Hierarchies and i see only the original MAPI public folder tree (CN=Public Folders). no other value there. according to the article i need to change other public folder tree, and not the default one. thanks

Hmm, Now do this: Check the attribute msExchOweningPFTree copy the value and past it in the notepad. After that clear the attribute and say OK. Paste the value again which you copied previously in msExchOweningPFTree attribute and check what do you see in msExchOwneningPFTreeBLGulab | MCITP: Exchange 2010-2007 | Skype: Gulab.Mallah | Blog: www.ExchangeRanger.Blogspot.com

Hey, in the early comment i meant there is no such value as msExchOweningPFTreeBL at all. its not "not set" or set to 0 - just doesn't exist

there were multiple MAPI paths defined for public folder hierarchy - for 2003, changed the 2003 to 0 In ADSIEdit there were two Administrative groups in (Configuration - Services - MS Exchange). Configuration [<domainController>.contoso.com] CN=Configuration,DC=contoso,DC=com CN=Services CN=Microsoft Exchange CN=<OrganizationName> CN=Administrative Groups CN=<AdministrativeGroupName> CN=Folder Hierarchies In the details pane, right-click CN=<PublicFoldersTree>, and then click Properties. On the Attribute Editor tab, click msExchPFTreeType, and then click Edit. Here is the MS article. http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd535370%28EXCHG.80%29.aspx TechNet
