Multiple Mailbox Age Limit policies
I have different classes of mailboxes for which I want to apply different age limits via mailbox policy. i.e. A user mailbox should have a 90-day age limit, but I have a handful of resource mailboxes for which I want a shorter, 30-day age limit. How can this be accomplished in Exchange 2007 SP1 UR9?

Use the set-mailbox cmdlet with the "RetainDeletedItemsFor" parameter.---Rich MatheisenMCSE+I, Exchange MVP--- Rich Matheisen MCSE+I, Exchange MVP

Hi,We can configure the "Deleted Item Retention" on database level to 90 and then configure "Deleted Item Retention" on some user level to 30.If there's no delete item reterntion settings on user, then it will use the settings on database level. If we have value on user level, then it will override the value on database.More inforamtion to share with you: How to Configure Deleted Item Retention for a Mailbox Databasehttp://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa997206.aspx How to Configure Deleted Item Retention for a Userhttp://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa995946.aspx Understanding Messaging Records Management http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb310756.aspx How to Create Managed Content Settings http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa996014.aspxRegards,Xiu
