Multiple Mailbox moves
Hi,
My company is preparing for an office move that will forever split our organization into two separate locations.
In preparation, I've built a new Exchange 2003 STDserver that will stay here in our current location after we move most of our other systems out. Ihave about120 mailboxes tomove this new exchange 2003 server. I'm fine with this because these servers are on the same LAN so the migration will be pretty quick.
However, 80 of those people who will need to be moved back to the original server later this summer when they are scheduled to move to the new facility, but now, there will be a WAN link in between the two servers. It will be a DS3.
My question is....now that there's a WAN involved, is there a better way to move 80 good sized mailboxes from server to server without having to use the Mailbox Migration tool across the WAN?
Thanks for your opinions.
