Multiple POP3/IMAP virtual servers?
It's been a while since I last touched Exchange 2003, but I'm fairly sure you could have multiple POP3 and IMAP virtual servers, but I see this is absent from 2007.
I'm asking because it complicates things for X.509 certificates and the host-headers used for connections.
It means if you want to use multiple domain-names for a virtual server you need to procure a UCC multiple-domain name certificate which are considerably more expensive than a single-domain name certificate and harder to manage (as you need to re-issue the
cert when the domain name list changes).
Will Exchange eventually support a model similar to IIS where multiple virtual servers are allowed, and have their own separate bindings w.r.t IP address and SSL cert?

Based on my research, Exchange 2007 only has default Virtual Server for POP3 and IMAP. To configure its settings, please refer to the following article:
