Multiple Public IP Adresses for Recieving Email
Hello All,
I have one domain pointed to our public IP address, some times this internet. lately this connection become down several times which stop from receiving emails, i have another Public IP from another provider.
So my question is, how to route email to other IP address only if the primary IP is down, is it only using MX records on my domain or there is another setup to take?

it is very much possible to use two public IP address to recieve the email for same domain.
1. Create mx records for second public IP and add this as secondary MX for your email domian. set preference as 20. so first email will try to hit mx record of 10 and then if it is not available, it will hit prefernce 20. which would be pointing to second
public IP address. now you have to route second public Ip address to your HUB or edge

Hi,
You need to
register another MX record
with lower Priority to ISP.
