Multiples DAGs for each Database

Is it a good idea to have a different dag for each database? Can I keep one dag and have the database on that?

I think you are confused about the terms. A DAG is a collection of mailbox servers in a cluster. (16 Mailbox Servers max in the cluster)

A database is replicated to the mailbox servers, one copy per mailbox server if desired.

Hi Maran,

Thank you for your question.

As Andy said, DAG is based on Exchange mailbox server. We just add the Exchange mailbox server to specific DAG. That is to say the database on Exchange mailbox server was just added to the specific DAG, we could not add the database to multiple DAGs.

If there are any questions regarding this issue, please be free to let me know.

Best Regard,

Jim
