NDR Error 3010
Hi all,We have a SBS 2003 w/SP2 server. I am getting an error 3010 NDR whenever our bookeeper uses QuickBooks to mail invoices. He is sending them to our customer along with our Invoices_Sent distribution group. This distribution group has one member, the public folder store Invoices_SentArchive. The email to our customer is going through, the NDR occurs when trying to send to Invoices_Sent distribution group. If the user clicks on send again it sends successfully.here is the text from the error, once again it is an MSExchangeTransport NDR EventId:3010 error:
A non-delivery report with a status code of 5.1.3 was generated for recipient rfc822;invoices_sent@sagetechcorp.com, (Message-ID <A73274CED9F9574B81732A0A52BA4E787C9428@herbert.Sagetechcorp.local>).
Cause: This message indicates a problem with the address syntax; this means that the recipient address appears incorrectly on the message. Possible causes are 1) You configured a contact with a targetAddress attribute with no address type. 2)Exchange 5.5 allows an SMTP recipient policy which violates RFC821 (SMTP standards) For example an Exchange 5.5 site and organization contain an invalid RFC821 domain name. Having a mixed mode environment (Exchange 5.5 and Exchange 2000 servers) can cause invalid target addresses.
Solution: Examine the SMTP recipient policy and ensure that each mail domain for which you want to accept mail appears correctly. Verify that the recipient address is correct.

I have checked the email addresses and they all seem to be correct.Any ideas? I am at a loss as to why this occurs.Thanks.

Is there a comma in the address as it's send from the application?---Rich MatheisenMCSE+I, Exchange MVP
