anyone no why an NDR isnt going out from an Exch 2007 sp1 system? allow NDR's is checked as well as allow delivery reports. these messages need to go out to the internet. I dont know if its ever worked. can that message, once it starts going out again, be customized? thanks

Maybe you have recipient filtering enabled? If so Exchange doesn't send the NDR for non existent users it just tells the sending server that user doesn't exit and it's up to the sending server to send back the NDR.
