NSPI Proxy failed to connect to Global Catalog
Hi,We received the SCOM alert " NSPI Proxy failed to connect to Global Catalog test.contoso.com over transport Tcp/Ip. This server is down or unreachable. Clients will not be directed to this GC until it is available again."
Since I don't have access to check the test.contoso.com logs, But MS has suggested to check the below;
Global catalog server was running and reachable at that time.
This GC has got restarted at that time?
TCP/IP NetBIOS Helper service in that server has been restarted?Is there any other aleternate way to check the logs for this event? I would like to know RCA for this alert but I am limited to access the GC logs. Please advise.Thanks

As you dont have access to the Active directiory, will be a tough call for you for the RCA. Probabaly on exchange (if you have access), you can try your luck on the event logs.try to run MPS reports and EXBPA on the exchange. Hopefully , it will give you some information on this.Raj

Besides, you can try to set MSExchangeSA\NSPI Proxy diagnostic logging level to MAX and wait for event to occur and then post here.
