re: bb936719: Configuring Virtual Organizations and Address List Segregation in Exchange 2007
Using technet article bb936719 I successfully separated my clients GAL and other address books into two companies. User provisioning scripts were prepared and working successfully. However, a third party application (AgendaX) would not function.
The customer accepted this limitation as they expected the companies to physically separate at a future date and then we would resume normal Exchange operation. That date has arrived.
The second organization has been separated to their own domain and servers now.
I would like assistance undoing the changes I implemented, returning this to a standard one company implementation. In particular:
? how do I recreate the proper permissions on the All Address Lists container
? how do I recreate the Default Address Lists
? how do I re-implement the default GAL
? how do I re-implement the default Offline Address Lists
I believe at this point I should be able to abandon the provisioning scripts and begin making new users in the typical (manual) manner.
Thanks, Dan

This doesn’t directly address your question, but since it’s been open as long as it has, I figure you might be looking for anything at this point!
