I am having a small problem with exchange.. Every morning - at exactly 8:45am - the exchange server starts to hit our routers with a ton of traffic. It is so bad, that it slows our one branch to a halt. I cannot find what could be cause this. Any idea's? Thank you in advance!

What appears in your event logs around this time? Have you modified the system maintenance time or are you running a backup at that point? Where is the traffic going? Can you get Network Monitoror Wireshark on the segment to identify what traffic it is?

We havent modified maintenance nor backup time. I will be doing a network monitor tommorrow morning @ 8-9 to see what it is hitting..

I still cannot figure out what it can be.. I have ran the network monitor, and nothing out of the ordinary or huge "seems" to be going on - and the log files of mail don't seem to have anything spectacular going on either..
