Network files blinking.
I am running Windows Server 2003 with with Windows Vista Clients. Everything has been running great until a couple of days ago. I am running remote profiles and have 2 network shares. All of the files and shortcuts that are on the remote profile are fine. Any file that is a shared network file has the green sync icon on the bottom right. For some reason all of the icons that have the green icon on the bottom right blink continously but the files that are stored on my remote profile do not. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, David

David, I'm not a very good Vista person so I have not seen the situation that you are current seeing. Does this happen for ALL of your users? Or just one? Obviously, Vista is trying to tell you something whether it is an individual's remote profile problem or just one profile is out of sync. Can you right click on the blinking green icon to get more information? Is there anything in Vista's event log? You might have better success with this question in a Windows Vista forum. http://forums.microsoft.com/TechNet/ShowForum.aspx?ForumID=720&SiteID=17
