Dear,

an you give me the steps needs to use New-AddressRewriteEntry  because i need to change the alias(the name) of one of my email address in inbound and outbound in the exchange 2013 and there are any steps i have to do before run the command specially we dont have edge role in exchange 2013 as i know.

Without Edge Transport servers, you might consider to use simple the Simple Display Name as an External Display Name.

In Exchange 2013, we can use Set-Mailbox cmdlet to set the Simple Display Name. Then use this command to enable this feature for all remote domains.

Get-RemoteDomain | Set-Remotedomain -UseSimpleDisplayName $true
