No OWA Reinstall Option
I have Windows Exchange Server 2003 / 6.5 installed on Windows Server 2003 and need help to reinstall OWA. When I run the setup from the Microsoft Exchange CD or from Program Manager, I find options to change or remove Exchange Server and System Manager, but I do not find any options for OWA. Unfortunately, I cannot afford to attempt repairs that will cost more than a couple minutes down-time. The reason I am attempting to install OWA is that it doesn't work and the web files appear to be missing. The following virtual directories are mapped in IIS, but are empty: Exchange mapped to local path \\.\BackOfficeStorage\(domain)\MBX Exadmin mapped to local path \\.\BackOfficeStorage I appreciate your suggestions.

Try selecting "Change", and if I recall correctly, you'll have the option to Reinstall in the list of components with the drop-down options. I haven't repaired Exchange 2003 in quite a while, so I'm pulling this from memory.Ed Crowley MVP "There are seldom good technological solutions to behavioral problems."

You are doing it wrong. You do not have to reinstall the product at all. Follow this article instead: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/883380 Doing a reinstall of Exchange from the CD will be more than a few minutes of downtime. It will reinstall the product, then you will have to reinstall the last service pack, then any updates. Probably looking at between an hour and two hours to fix. The above procedure to repair OWA will take about ten minutes. Simon. Simon Butler, Exchange MVP Blog | Exchange Resources | In the UK? Hire Me.
