No, expired SSL certificate will not cause email delivery failure.

Please run Exchange Remote Connectivity Analyzer https://www.testexchangeconnectivity.com/ to do an Inbound SMTP Email Test which will guide you some general steps for troubleshooting the issue. If the issue persists, please paste the result here.

Please make sure you have enough free space Exchange installed drive in your server.

Please use this as well http://www.emailtalk.org/MailServer.aspx

Hi JavaHeart,

Thank you for your question.

I agree with the above suggestion.

In addition:

Did the issue that dont receive email from outside occur suddenly?

Did the Exchange update recently?

We could check if there are any errors in application log and send them to ibsexc@microsoft.com for our troubleshooting.

When we could send email from external to internal, is there a NDR?

Then we could telnet port 25 on Exchange server from external to check if it is successful.

Use the link which MAS supply to check connectivity from external.

If there are any questions regarding this issue, please be free to let me know.

Best Regard,

Jim
