we have uninstall Kingsoft office and installed MS office 2013 but while opening word file getting error. 

error- word experienced an error trying to open file

Request you to please help it.

Hi Vinit,

Does this happen with all existing Word documents? What about the new created documents with Microsoft Word 2013?

This is probably due to that the file was altered by a third-party software (Kingsoft), and hence the file cannot be opened.

Please try to right-click the Word file that you have problems with, and click "Property". On the "General" tab, click "Unblock", when done, click "OK". After this, try to open it again with Word 2013 and see if issue persists.

Note: a properly-working Word file does not have an "Unblock" button displayed.
