OAB is not updating
I am not able to see new users added to active directory in the GAL. When i go to C:\Program Files\Microsoft\Exchange Server\ExchangeOAB i see that it has not updated in over a month. I can go to the OAB in Exchange manager and run update,
i don't get errors but it doesn't update either. Any ideas of what might be wrong?

Increase Diagnostics on the OALGenerator to expert and run update again.
What version Exchange?

Exchange 2007. I set it to expert and ran the update again succesfully. However on a refresh of the C:\Program Files\Microsoft\Exchange Server\ExchangeOAB folder all the .LZX files still say 8/19/2010 as a last changed date.

Is this a web-based OAB?
Where is this OAB directory? On the CAS or MBX server?

I have web based and public folder distribution selected. Everything is on the same server.

If you create a new test OAB and update it, does it work?

Yes that seems to have updated, and there is a new folder in the C:\Program Files\Microsoft\Exchange Server\ExchangeOAB location. Should I just switch that one to the default OAB and start using it?
