OWA 2003 login without typing domain
Hi all,
Currently the environment still uses Exchange 2003 SP2
Recently I encounter issues login to OWA 2003. I need to key in domain\username in order to login. But according to my colleagues, they mentioned that they need not key in the domain. I've tried configure the frontend/backup server IIS to enable "Basic
authentication" and default domain to "\" but i still need to key in domain because im in a multi domain environment. The default domain only allow me to specify 1 domain but i still got other 2 child domain. I've tried http://support.microsoft.com/kb/903942
but still not workable.
Would like to know if there is anyway I can configure OWA to accept on username and need not users to enter domain.
Thanks in advance

Do you have FBA enabled? You can try editing the logon.asp page. Take a look at the following article.

Hi,
FBA is enabled. I do not want to edit the logon.asp as it hardcode the domain name. I got 3 child domain but the default domain allow me to specify only 1 domain. then authentication is not working other than the default domain. :(
The domains trust are in place and working.
will try the steps mention by jonas

hi,
as it is working previously without amending the logon.asp therefore my org do not wish to amend it. As mentioned before the logon.asp only can specify 1 domain (but i got 4 domains) therefore it still not feasible to do it.
any other thing that I can look into?
