OWA 2003 will not authenticate user password
I have an Exchange Server 2003 running on Windows Server 2003. I have a user account that will not authenticate via OWA with their username and password. They authenticate fine in the office, using Outlook 2003. This user account will not authenticate using OWA or POP. Connectivity is fine, just no authentication. I have reset and changed the password to no avail; however, the user account acts fine on the local side using their workstation logon and Outlook account. What is going on? Why won't the Exchange server authenticate with good credentials?

How are they entering the username?I would try with the UPN if you havent already and see if that works. ( User@domain.com)

I've tried it both ways, domain\user and user@domain no go.

Any special characters in the name or password? When it fails, does it just say password is invalid? Have you checked the IIS logs or enabled logging on the POP side to see if they reveal anything?Any logon restrictions ( They can only Logon to a specific workstation perhaps?) for that account in AD?
