We just migrated to Exchange 2007 SP1 CCR and the Journal folder is not visible in OWA. I checked to ensure that the journal folder is under Default Managed Folders and also enabled under the segmentation tab on both CAS servers default owa website. Any help would be appreciated - still fumbling my way around the new system.

Use the Get-CASMailbox cmdlet to see if the OWAJournalEnabled parameter is set on the affected mailbox (segmentation can be applied per-user as well). I assume this problem is occuring for all users though?Neil Hobson, Exchange MVP

Journal folder has been hided from OWA 2007 Premium by design. Although the Journal folder is visible in OWA Light, the actual journal functionality isn't there The segmentation article shows the ability to disable or enable the Journal folder from OWA via the modifications of parameters via Exchange Power Shell. These parameters only affect the behavior in OWA Light Nevertheless, in both Light and Premium, the users can still search the item inside the Journal folder, we just dont have Journal type GUI anymore
