OWA access from multiple site to multiple mailbox servers
Hi, I'm having some trouble understanding how to conifgure OWA to work with multiple sites. Here is my configuration and the problem I'm having: - 2 Active directory sites (Sydney and Wellington) part of the same internal domain (Windows 2003 functional level). - Each site has an Exchange server 2007 SP1 with mailbox, transport and CAS services. - OWA is currently configured on each exchange server (on each site) to be access from the internet through 2 separate external URL's (one in ".com.au", the other in ".co.nz"). The problem is that, if a user from Wellington (which has his mailbox located on the mailbox server in Wellington) tries to logon through the OWA in Sydney (using the .com.au URL), I get an error message saying that the OWA could not find the mailbox. If this same user connects through the OWA in Wellington (using the .co.nz URL), it works fine. The opposite is also true: If a user in Sydney tries to logon via the Wellington OWA, same error. My question is: Is it possible to have any user connecting through any of the two public OWA URL's (.com.au or .co.nz domains), no matter where their mailboxes are located? And if so, how? Thanks a lot, Stephane

This article describes how Exchange 2007 should work. http://msexchangeteam.com/archive/2007/09/10/446957.aspx I'm not sure of the exact behavior you really want, and how making changes to the ExternalURL setting might break other things, so I'll leave it to you to experiment with it.Ed Crowley MVP "There are seldom good technological solutions to behavioral problems."

Please refer to the article to type the following command and verify whether external URL are configured. Please assure that external URL should be configured during CAS servers redirection. Also, Integrated Windows authentication must be turn on the remote CAS for /owa virtual directory. Get-OwaVirtualDirectory -Identity "Contoso\owa (default web site)" For more information about Redirection and Proxying, please refer to the link below: http://msexchangeteam.com/archive/2007/09/04/446918.aspx Thanks.
