Hi, I'm using IE 8 for my OWA which is hosted on Exch 2007 Sp3. When i get a new mail in my inbox, i don't get a desktop alert. I have checked get-clientaccessserver | FL. I see the alert is enabled. swamy

Hi Bpara & Thygau My IE8 is the default browser and scripting is enalbed. When the brower is the active page, it does display the desktop alert, But when the browser is minimized, it doesn't showup like in the outlook. swamy

Hi, Based on my test in the labs, I found that the new email notification only pops up in the OWA Active page and it does not pop up when IE is minimized. I'm afraid that the symptom is normal. Thanks. Novak Wu-MSFT
