OWA exchange directory in exchange 2007
All,I am trying to recreate Exchangeweb directory in exchange 2007 by below syntex:-new-owavirtualdirectory -owaversion "exchange2003or2000" -virtauldirectorytype mailboxes -name "exchange (default web site)" However i m not getting any error and when i ran get-owavirtauldirectory then its not showing me exchange directory under this Name Server OwaVersion---- ------ ----------Public (Default Web Site) DCEX2K7 Exchange2003or2000Exchweb (Default Web Site) DCEX2K7Exchange2003or2000owa (Default Web Site) DCEX2K7 Exchange2007what i m missing here. please advise

Hi, Please use the following command to create the owa directory --> New-OWAVirtualDirectory -OWAVersion "Exchange2007" -Name "owa (Default Web Site)" Thanks,

i am getting this error why i do get-owavirtualdirectory "exchange (default web site)"Get-OwaVirtualDirectory : The operation could not be performed because 'exchange (default web site)' could not be found on server.domain.com.At line:1 char:24+ Get-OwaVirtualDirectory <<<< "exchange (default web site)"

Result is same, when i ran this command, it's completed without any an error.....however when igot this when i triedget-owavirtualdirectory[MSH] D:\>Get-OwaVirtualDirectory Name Server OwaVersion---- ------ ----------Public (Default Web Site) DCEX2K7 Exchange2003or2000Exchweb (Default Web Site) DCEX2K7 Exchange2003or2000owa (Default Web Site) DCEX2K7 Exchange2007

Hi,Did you check under IIS? Whether the Exchange Virtual Directory indeed was created successful? Whether the /exchange can be accessed normally in the url?What's the version of the platform? Windows Server 2003 or Windows Server 2008?ThanksAllen

No Allen, exchange directory is not listed in IIS also. Its 2003 windows. When i run get-owavirtualdirectory then i got this [MSH] D:\>Get-OwaVirtualDirectory Name Server OwaVersion ---- ------ ---------- Public (Default Web Site) DCEX2K7 Exchange2003or2000 Exchweb (Default Web Site) DCEX2K7 Exchange2003or2000 owa (Default Web Site) DCEX2K7 Exchange2007 any thoughts
