OWA not working - certificate related?
Hi All
I have a client whose OWA is not working - the get an "IE cannot display this page error" This began when I ran the ICW wizard (we're talking SBS 2003 here) to renew an expired self issued certificate.
I have gone through the steps to delete and recreate the IIS virtual directories and this fixes the issue to a point, however after this process I can go to
http://server/exchange on the server console and it will pop up a login box - loging in then takes you to OWA. In other words, forms based authentication is not working (yes it is enabled).
The next problem, is that external access to OWA is denied. At this stage if you try an access it externally you get a "You are not authorized to view this page" error. If I run the ICW wizard to enable it, the whole thing breaks and I am
back where I started.
One other bit of information - if i go into the Exchange virtual directory properties in IIS Manager and go to the Directory security settings and tick the box to require it to use SSL, I an subsequently unable to access OWA at all.
Any suggestions would be helpful!
Thanks in advance.

See if you can find the iis log entries generated by your attempt to log into OWA. If there is more than one web site on the server, you may find them in a different log to what you are expecting. Normally, they would be in the W3SVC1 log,
but if there is an issue with the server's iis config (such as a host header name having been configured without you realising it), then the OWA requests will end up at the wrong site.Mobile OWA For Smartphone
