we have single exchange server 2013 and recently we have renew the SAN Certificate of the Exchange .

after renew the SAN Certificate we are facing problem accessing owa from outside some browser are working  sometimes like  ( IE ) and other browser not working ( Chrome and Firefox )  at all .

browser giving ERR_CONNECTION_CLOSED .

any idea what could be the issue ??

Are you presented with the new certificate when you browse using all of the browsers? CHeck the expiration date to make sure it matches. Does the new certificate have a different CA chain? If so did you install the new chain?

I know with some certificate providers like digicert, you need to install the chain in a specific order and disable automatic updates of CA's from windows updates. THis is because Micrsoft has more trusts in place and puts some of the Intermediates as Roots, but Firefox doesn't.

In Exchange server, please restart IIS service by running IISReset from a Coomand Prompt window. In client machine side, please clear any cache in browser to have a try.
