OWA quick timeouts
Hello, we have a number of users complaining of rapid timeouts using OWA. It seems to be IE8 related but I can't pinpoint exactly what is causing it. It can be very quick - immediately after logging in and clicking an email they are prompted
for their credentials again. It's only begun recently and I was wondering if something has been patched recently with Exchange or IE 8 that might be causing this?
We're using Exchange 2003.
Thanks,
Rob

Try adding the owa site as a trusted site.
Or try compatability mode.
Also Ensure 2003 has been patched to all the latest updates.

The site is trusted, compatibility mode doesn't change the behavior.
All updates are current.

Hi Destin0va,
I have also run into the same issue, at present, kindly suggest that you could use ie 7 on XP OS.

I'm afraid rolling back 2500+ machines to IE 7 isn't an option.
IE was pushed via Windows Update almost a year ago, and vulnerabilities in IE 6 and 7 continue to thrive.

Hi
What version of the XP os are you using? Xp sp2 or XP sp3 and so on.
Does all your clients use the same version OS, and does all the clients have the same issue?
Please test the different version XP with IE 8.
Or you could follow below and make a test:
- Internet Options > Advanced - look under Security heading and remov
checkbox for 'Enable Integrated Windows Authentication'.
- Add checkbox for SSL 2.0
