I have recently had a user report that they had low disk space. After some research I have discovered that the appData>local>Microsoft>office>office15>officeFileCache has files that are growing to over 100 GB in a day. I have changed the settings in the upload center to clear the cache everyday. I have stopped the Cache process. These files still grow very rapidly. Is there anything that can be done to stop the creation of these files, or at least put a size limit so they clear after becoming a certain size?

Sounds like you have a cache problem, it could be a file corruption. I would first suggest you to clear out everything in the cache directory and do a re-sync and see if issue persists.

Also, please check on your server or OneDrive to see the total amount of data that being stored. Check if you have any large files stored, like videos.

This is absolutely ridiculous!  I'm about ready to reformat and reinstall.  Microsoft needs a "real" fix for this now.  Items in triplicate is not the point of OneDrive for Business.  Why on earth do I need them stored locally and in a cache if it is SUPPOSED to be in the cloud.  Which I might add is the really the whole point of the cloud, to be accessible anywhere WITHOUT cluttering up my OS partition with an extra 40GB of data that is virtually stale.  This is a step backward.
