Office 2003 problem with roaming profiles
Hi not sure if this is the correct forum to post this in but i couldn't find a office 2003 forum.
We have a windows server 2003 domain where users have roaming profiles to log onto any PC.
One of our users has a problem with Word 2003 where if she highlights some text to change tobold, the whole document goes in bold as well.
I have reinstalled Office on her PC but this made no difference. Also got the user to try the same thing from another PC and the problem replicates on the other PC.
It seems to be a problem with her roaming profile as I can log on with a different user account and Word works fine.
Any ideas on what it could be? Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Hi,
To provide efficient and accurate services to our customers, Microsoft has different support groups for different products. This issue is related to the Office 2003 and cannot be resolved from a Exchange server standpoint. Our Exchange Support Team deals mainly with issues related to the Exchange Server. Thus, we are not the best resource for this issue.
In order to make sure that the case is handled by the most suitable engineer, I suggest submitting a new case to our Office Support Groups. For your convenience I have included the link:
http://forums.microsoft.com/TechNet/default.aspx?ForumGroupID=161&SiteID=17
In this way, the case will be handled by an engineer who specializes in this type of issue. This will ensure the problem is resolved as quickly as possible. Thank you for your understanding.
Thanks
Allen

She probably saved over her default normal template file. You will need to replace her template file with a good one. Have her open a good template file that you've copied from another computer and have her save as template to replace her bad one.
