Office 2010 licensing questions

Hi,

I have a few questions about Office 2010 licensing.

1.  This should be an easy question that applies to Office 2013 as well.  I activated my Office 2010 Standard volume license using MAK.  I know that the command "cscript ospp.vbs /dstatus" shows the information for the installed key.  When I run "cscript ospp.vbs /dstatusall", why does it list 3 items (Standard-MAK, Standard-KMS, StandardAcad-MAK) and then 2 of them show as UNLICENSED?  Is the /dstatusall command just listing all the possible licenses/keys that this package supports and we can just ignore the UNLICENSED entries?

2.  We're using a volume licensed MAK but the description above shows "RETAIL channel".  Are we using an incorrect installer package or key?  Do we need a "retail" package?  The activation works fine with our current key.

3.  This question is a bit harder.  We've had some computers where Office 2010 Standard would be activated for some time and then they become "UNLICENSED".  Their hardware hasn't changed.  This affects a small portion of our Office 2010 Standard users.  Anyone know what causes the Office 2010 to lose their license and become UNLICENSED?  Anyone else experience this issue?

Thank you for your help.

Usually licensing questions are better to contact Volume Licensing Service Center:

https://www.microsoft.com/Licensing/servicecenter/default.aspx

Contact them based on your region:

Thanks for the reply.  I asked VLSC first before coming here but they said "Please note that our group supports the navigation of the VLSC website, along with the activation of Software Assurance Benefits therein."  For product keys, they told me to contact tech support.

Management wants to make sure we're properly licensed and they were concerned with the "UNLICENSED" entries with the /dstatusall command.  I'm not sure what the difference is between a license and a key (besides a key unlocks the product).

/dstatus - Display license information for installed product keys

/dstatusall - Display license information for installed licenses

If someone knows the answer to questions 1 and 2, that would help a lot.  Thanks again.
