We have a customer who has just undergone some changes with Office licences and we have had to move some licences around.
The machines we are having issues with are ones that we have installed Office 2010 onto using a volume licence key. We have made sure that we have enough licences already and know the key is valid.
Using the usual method of opening an office program, we're using outlook mainly, we enter the product key using the File > Activate option.
We enter the key which it accepts and finish the installation. We're asked to restart the program which we do but no matter how many times we do this we cannot get the suite to activate.
We are now getting the warnings that the product will expire.
We have done as much research as possible to find a solution and cannot find anyone that appears to have a resolution.
We have done the usual steps of re-installing etc. Is there a registry change that needs to be done?
