I've been tasked with identifying which users have office 365 deployed. I've found a great license spread sheet that queries against the tenant and pulls back licensing details such as provisioning status: success, disabled, pending input, disabled. I don't think that this just tells me the status of the license but not the status of the deployment.

Does anyone know how to run a report that will give me installation status? Is this possible?

Do you mean you'd like to audit the status of Office installs each user has installed? Based on my research, at the moment there isn't a way to create or pull such a report.
