Office 365 ProPlus for isolated network

Hi

I want to deploy Office 365 ProPlus inside my network as we already purchased the licenses.

Our environment doesn't have internet connection.

I know that TechNet has this note in one of its articles.

despite of that, I'm curious to hear from other people if they implemented Office 365 ProPlus in similar environments?

Is it possible to activate O365ProPlus with KMS Server or any other offline way?

Hi Tamir,

This is impossible, we cannot activate Office 365 ProPlus with Key Management Service (KMS) or Multiple Activation Key (MAK).

Office 365 installation is activated and kept activated automatically by cloud-based services associated with Office 365.

You will have to make sure the machines that have Office 365 installed can connect to the Office Licensing Service via the Internet at least once every 30 days.

No.

I agree with Ethan. The whole idea of MSFT subscription-based products/services, is that you must "phone-home" periodically to MSFT to re-validate your subscription entitlement.

MAK and KMS doesn't do that by current design.
KMS never "phones home" to MSFT, ever.
MAK only "phones home" when OOT is detected.

Even O365ProPlus "Shared Computer Activation" (such as you might use on TS/RDS) requires phone-home to MSFT.
