Office Pro Plus 2010 Installer

I'm looking for a Office 2010 Professional Plus installer,

The one we have from VLSC seems to want a KMS as the installer doesn't ask for a serial key and eventually it will tell our users that they have 1 day left to use office and a message about this software only being used on a corporate network.

We don't have a KMS is there a retail installer for Pro plus that will work with our key?

They only way I've found to fix this is go to Programs & Features Click on office -> Change Install-> Enter Key. but still a activation windows when you open word etc never shows up.

Thanks,

Jason

Hi,

in VLSC you should have both KMS pkey and also MAK pkey.
You can use the MAK pkey, which will perform activation to the MS web-hosted activation servers.

This is basically the same kind of experience as a Retail activation of Office.

VL editions of Office default to KMSclient pkey, so you have to replace that default pkey with your MAK pkey.

So if I delete the "pkeyconfig-office.xrm-ms" file in the install files under ProPlus.WW. It should then prompt me for a key at install correct?

Arg. No!

Use the exact same VL ProPlus installation fileset.
When installing ProPlus, it will default to the embedded KMSclient pkey. You can either generate a customisation (MSP file) using the OCT, or, edit the config.xml, or, apply your MAK pkey after installation.
If doing after installation, you can do this via the UI (change product key), or us the included slmgr.vbs script.
